MUSIC WAS MY FIRST LOVE! Our music school has set itself the task of promoting and expanding early musical education and development in our community. With more than 30 years of professional experience at a municipal music school with thousands of successful students, we have now ventured into self-employment. Some are retiring - we are founding a private music school! Much too young not to pass on our decades of experience. Let's go into an exciting time!
guitar lessons
We offer music lessons for beginners and advanced, for children, teenagers and adults for the classical acoustic guitar, for electric guitar, bass guitar and ukulele. In our children's courses, the little ones learn how to use music for the first time and have the opportunity to make music together.
Our band coaching
In our band coaching, young bands learn early on to play together, to listen to one another and to work together. Regular appearances give our students the opportunity to get used to making music in front of an audience.

Hans Nijland
Music teacher and music pedagogue
The guitar has been part of my life for more than 50 years. As a teenager I played in different bands. After studying at the Enschede University of Music, I started my career at the Ahaus City Music School. After more than 35 years, I have now been able to take my well-deserved retirement. But I can't do without a guitar and lessons. That is why I have now started the Hans Nijland Music School.
